endless stream of sounds and noises
countless minutes of despair
came together in this moment
when you formed your first new word.
came an end to signs and guessing
end to scratching off our heads
end to crying end to shouting
a new time had began
the time of words
or
was it
or it was
your first word
the light came on
and there you were
all happy and excited
your little hand points to the light
your little mouth with purest sound
