In Memoriam

(Requiem)

 

In loving memory of my dearest friend,  Vilma Redican-Elliott Who died on 30/04/2023

 

  1.  

Few had  your courage, strong-will and life force, in days that you knew: 

Comes the end.

Even near death you remained calm and trusting, 

Your deep faith cradled your heart,  reigned-in 

your despair.

 

2.

Now that you've gone 

from this world 

to another, leaving 

behind all your loved ones, mourning your 

loss. 

At this sad time that I mourn you,  an image emerges in my

mind's eye:

Of your special courage, special soul, special heart, 

of your grace: You,

as remembered.

 

3.

Memories live: of your

love of music, of dancing, of chocolate,of fun.of people.

Now that you have gone to another kingdom, 

your light still remains:  

In the hearts, 

In the minds in 

the souls of your 

friends. 

 

Your are here.
