A loud thunder finding its way through the silence of the night.

Wakes up a little girl, who went to sleep not so long ago.

Sitting on her bed, in the corner, holding her Teddy-Bear, who was there since ever.

Doesn’t want to go to sleep, scared of the re-occurring nightmare.

Not about the monster in the closet, or the one under the bed, but a different dream, unclear, strange…

She was used to her parents being there.

Doing everything for her, hugging, loving.

Always there.

And who would have thought, that her worst nightmare, is a new family member.

A little brother, vulnerable, harmless.

Someone that everybody loves, especially their parents.

Someone that needs taking care of, and there's no time for anything else.

And the parents forget.

Forget that they still have a little girl, with a Teddy-Bear, who was there since ever, and was taken to give to her little brother.

And in the middle of the nightmare, a loud thunder finding its way through the silence of the night.

Wakes up a little girl, who went to sleep not so long ago.

Went to sleep in hope for a dream, a regular dream, and woke up from a nightmare.
