I lost my shoe in the darkness of my empty soul.
My journey has no future and the past has been long forgotten.
Small slivers of light evade my universe as I ride the emotional tides,
but they are hardly strong enough to keep my spirit from plunging into starvation.
Dreams escape me, hope doesn't live here any more as I find my self hopping blindly and barefoot at the path of my resurrection.
